My name is Aaron Tandy. I am member 608 and pledged Fall 2004. I currently reside in Buffalo, New York and work as a chemical engineer and an independent consultant for companies based in Niagara
Falls.
I have been a member of our alumni board since my undergraduate commencement in 2007 and in that time have had the privilege of serving in several elected positions, including five years as Chairman.
Currently I serve as a member at large of our Board of Trustees, as Chairman for Clarkson’s Greek Alumni Council, and as alumni advisor to Tau Epsilon Phi’s colony at the University of Buffalo.
Over the time I have served our organization, I have seen the waxing and waning of alumni interest in involvement with the alumni association. After celebrating our 50th anniversary a few short years ago, I witnessed what I view as nothing less than the rebirth of the spirit of our organization. There is an interest and excitement surrounding our group that is unmatched to any other time I can recall. New drive for communication and additional resources are allowing us to achieve a structure that seemed like a dream only four or five years ago. This energy is invigorating, and truly exciting for what we will be able to achieve in the upcoming years. I am thankful for the time I have served to date and look forward to assisting with the continued growth of our organization, allowing it to be as life changing for the next generation as it has been for me.
