I am currently living in Manchester, NH, working as an Electrical Engineer for BAE Systems. I have been working in my current position at BAE since I graduated in May of 2018.
During my time in the house, I was the Bursar and the Warden. As Bursar I revamped our budget spreadsheet to make it easier to follow, and easier to use for myself, and for all future bursars. I also set up electronic bill pay through our bank account to make it easier for the Bursar to pay our usual monthly bills. As Warden, i digitized all important documents to preserve them for the future, and created a basic schedule template of what would happen during the 6 weeks of pledging. My actions insured consistency between wardens, and pledge classes, and allowed for easy knowledge and information transfer between the Wardens.
Along with this, even while holding no house position, I was a large part of the pledging process, and assisted the current Warden with making sure the process ran smoothly.I also helped to overseeing and manage the budget during the semester while not actively serving as Warden.
I want to be on the Alumni board to continue to serve our fraternity, providing input from the prescriptive of a more recent graduate and to help improve relations and communication between the alumni board and the active members of the fraternity which was major issue in the last year or so of my undergraduate career.
